Amendment of the Social Security (Benefit) (Members of the Forces) Regulations
18.—(1) The Social Security (Benefit) (Members of the Forces) Regulations 1975(1) are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) In regulation 3 (unemployment benefit)—
(a)in paragraph (1) (discharge or dismissal in consequence of conviction)(2) after “(higher level sanctions)” insert “or Article 31 of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (higher level sanctions)”; and
(b)in paragraph (3) (evidence of dismissal)(3) after “Welfare Reform Act 2012” insert “or under Part 2 of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015”.
(3) In regulation 5 (application of the Act, the Northern Ireland Act and regulations)(4) after “Welfare Reform Act 2012 and regulations made under it,” insert “or of Part 2 of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 and regulations made under it,”.
