Schedule 4 N.I. Transitional provisions

PART 1 N.I. General

Meaning of “active member” of the 1988 scheme or the equivalent 1987 Great Britainpolice pension scheme N.I.

6.—(1) This paragraph applies in relation to—

(a) the 1988 scheme; and

(b) the 1987 Great Britain police pension scheme.

(2) For the purpose of this Schedule, a transition member (T) is an active member of a scheme mentioned in sub-paragraph (1) on a given date if on that date T is in pensionable service M1 under that scheme.
