The Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014

Amendments to the Principal Regulations

2.—(1) The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) to (5).

(2) The classes of fireplace beginning with the words—

“Aduro 3D”;

“Aduro 9D”;

“Clearburn Junior SE”; and

“Dartmoor 5 SE”,

and the respective conditions are omitted.

(3) In the first column of the Schedule under the heading, “(1) Class of fireplace”—

(a) in the classes beginning with the words—

“Amalia 5”;

“Amalia 7”;

“Be Modern Monroe 5”;

“Be Modern Monterrey 7”;

“eVolution 4”;

“eVolution 5”;

“eVolution 7”;

“eVolution 26”;

“Hillandale Silverdale 5”;

“Hillandale Silverdale 7”;

“Monterrey 6”;

“Serrano 5”;

“Serrano 7”;

“York Grande SE”; and

“York Midi SE”,

• for each time that they appear, for the name and address of the manufacturer beginning with the words, “Broseley Fires”, substitute “Broseley Fires Limited, First Floor, Unit B, Knights Court, Archers Way, Battlefield Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 3GA.”;

(b)

in the classes beginning with the words—

“Stoven Mayfair SE”; and

“Vista Magnifico SE”,

• for each time that they appear, for the name and address of the manufacturer beginning with the words, “Ciang Stoves Limited”, substitute “Newman Fireplaces Ltd, Units 6 & 7 Rawreth Barns, Dollymans Farm, Doublegate Lane, Rawreth, Wickford, Essex, SS11 8UD.”;

(c)

in the classes beginning with the words—

“The Dean Stoves Dartmoor 6 SE”

(4) In the second column of the Schedule, under the heading, “(2) Conditions”, in respect of the classes beginning with the words—

(5) At the appropriate places in the Schedule to the Principal Regulations insert the classes of fireplace and the respective conditions set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
