3. In Regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of the Food with added Phytosterols or Phytostanols (Labelling) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004(1) for the definition of “Regulation 608/2004” substitute—
““Regulation 608/2004” means Commission Regulation (EC) No 608/2004 concerning the labelling of foods and food ingredients with added phytosterols, phytosterol esters, phytostanols and/or phytostanol esters as amended by and as read with Commission Regulation (EU) No 718/2013 amending Regulation (EC) No. 608/2004;”(2).

Explanatory Memorandum
Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Rule and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications.
