Coming into operation in accordance with Regulation 1(2)

The Department of Justice makes the following regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 83(5) and (5A), 84(1) and (5A), 85(5), 86 and 138(9) of the Sexual Offences Act 20031 and now vested in it2.

In accordance with section 138(6) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations was laid before, and approved by a resolution of, the Assembly.
