The Foot and Mouth Disease (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 No. 151

Amendment

3.  The Foot and Mouth Disease Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006(1) are amended as follows—

(a) In regulation 15(1), for words “a contemporary control zone” substitute “a temporary control zone”;

(b) In regulation 30(4)—

(i) For sub-paragraph (b), substitute “any protection zone extends from that border such that its boundary is at least three kilometres from the infected premises”; and

(ii) For sub-paragraph (c), substitute “any surveillance zone extends from that border such that its boundary is at least ten kilometres from the infected premises”.
