Commencement of governance provisions3

28th April 2014 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions identified in paragraph (2) for all purposes except for those referred to in paragraphs (3) and (4).

The provisions are –
a
section 4 (scheme manager);
b
section 5 (pension board);
c
section 6 (pension board: information); and
d
section 7 (scheme advisory board).

The purpose of making scheme regulations to establish schemes for the payment of pensions and other benefits to or in respect of local government workers.
