22. In regulation 79 (inward transfers of pension rights) for paragraphs (2) and (3) substitute—
“(2) Relevant rights are—
(a)accrued rights under a registered scheme other than rights to benefits under the scheme which are attributable (directly or indirectly) to a pension credit; and
(b)accrued rights under a European pensions institution as defined in Article 269(8) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005(1).
(3) Accrued rights under a registered scheme include rights to preserved benefits and rights appropriately secured under section 19 of the 1993 Act(2).”.
