The Waste (Amendment) (2007 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2013

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1(3) of the Waste (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007(1), makes the following Order:
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Waste (Amendment) (2007 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2013.
Appointed day
2. The appointed day for the coming into operation of—
(a)Article 5 (failure to furnish documentation: fixed penalty notice);
(b)Article 9 (power to search and seize vehicles);
(c)Article 14 (registration requirements and conditions);
(d)Article 15 (enforcement powers);
(e)Article 16 (failure to produce authority; fixed penalty notice) of; and
(f)in so far as they are not already in operation, the remaining repeal provisions of the Schedule to,
the Waste (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 is 11th March 2013.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into operation Articles 5, 9, 14, 15 and 16 of, and, in so far as they are not already in operation, the remaining repeal provisions of the Schedule to, the Waste (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007(2) on 11th March 2013.
