Superannuation (Charity Commission for Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012

Coming into operation

1st September 2012

The Department of Finance and Personnel makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972(1) and now vested in it(2).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Charity Commission for Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012, shall come into operation on 1st September 2012 and shall have effect from 8th April 2010.

Addition to list of employments

2. There shall be added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, employment in the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland(3).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order adds employment in the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It has retrospective effect from 8 April 2010 by virtue of Article 3(7) of that Order.
