These Regulations amend regulation 9C of the Social Security (Credits) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1975 to provide for an award of credits in respect of any week during which a person was paid additional statutory paternity pay.

The Department for Social Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22(5) and 171(1) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19921 and now vested in it2.
