Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Credits) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 5th April 2012.
Amendment of the Social Security (Credits) Regulations2
In regulation 9C of the Social Security (Credits) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19753 (credits for adoption pay period and maternity pay period)—
a
in the heading after “adoption pay period” insert “, additional paternity pay period”;
b
in paragraph (1)(a) after “paragraph (2)(a)” insert “or (aa)”;
c
in paragraph (2) after sub-paragraph (a) insert—
aa
the additional paternity pay period in respect of which additional statutory paternity pay was paid to a person, or
d
in paragraph (5)—
i
after ““adoption pay period”,” insert ““additional paternity pay period”,”, and
ii
after ““statutory adoption pay”” insert “, “additional statutory paternity pay””.
