The Foyle, Carlingford and Irish Lights Commission, with the approval of the North/South Ministerial Council, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Foyle Fisheries Act 1952(1) and section 13(1) of the Foyle Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1952(2) and now vested in it(3).

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Tagging and Logbook) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2011.

Amendment of the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Tagging and Logbook) Regulations 2001

2.  For regulation 5(1)(e) of the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Tagging and Logbook) Regulations 2001(4) substitute—

(e)have in his possession any tag which has been forged or altered;

These Regulations amend the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Tagging and Logbook) Regulations 2001 by prohibiting the possession of forged or altered tags.
