These Regulations may be cited as the Waste Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011 and except as provided in paragraphs (2), (3) and (4) shall come into operation on 8th April 2011.

Regulation 17 shall come into operation on 8th October 2011.

Regulation 18 shall come into operation on 1st January 2015.

Regulation 28 shall come into operation on 1st January 2014.

The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 19544 shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
