Citation and commencement
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (State Pension and National Insurance Credits) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010.
(2) Paragraphs (1) to (4) of regulation 4 shall come into operation on 6th April of the flat rate introduction year(1).
(3) The other provisions of these Regulations shall come into operation on 6th April 2010.

The definition of “the flat rate introduction year” was inserted into section 121 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 by section 9(4) of the Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2008
