Citation, commencement, and interpretation

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Home Repair Assistance Grant (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 and shall come into operation on 7 February 2011.

Amendment of the Home Repair Assistance Grant Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003

2.—(1) In Regulation 1 (2) of the Home Repair Assistance Grant Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003(1) after the definition of “housing benefit” add—

“(income related) employment and support allowance” means (income related) employment and support allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act (Northern Ireland) 2007;” and

(2) After the definition of “income-based jobseeker’s allowance” omit the definition of “pension credit”.

3.  In Regulation 2 of the Home Repair Assistance Grant Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 after “is in receipt of” add—

“(income related) employment and support allowance,”.

4.  In Paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Home Repair Assistance Grant Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 after “is in receipt of” add—

“(income related) employment and support allowance,”.
