For the purposes of these regulations an employed constable of NPIA shall be deemed to be a member, except where the context otherwise requires.

In relation to an employed constable of NPIA—

a

a reference in these regulations to the force shall be construed as a reference to NPIA;

b

a reference in these regulations to the Board (including any reference to the Police Authority which is to be construed as a reference to the Board) shall be construed as a reference to NPIA.
