1. These Regulations may be cited as the Agriculture (Student fees)(Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 and shall come into operation on the 16th October 2009.
2. The Agriculture (Student fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007(3) shall be amended as provided by regulations 3 and 4.
3. In Regulation 4(1)(4) for “£1255” substitute “£1285”.
4. In Regulation 5(2)(5) for “£625” substitute “£640”.
5. In the Agriculture (Student fees)(Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008(6) the following regulations are revoked—
(1) Regulation 4(2);
(2) Regulation 5.

These Regulations amend the Agriculture (Student fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007. They also revoke certain provisions of the Agriculture (Student fees)(Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008.
These Regulations increase the level of fee to be paid by persons undertaking a course of higher education provided by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as set out in Regulations 3 and 4.
