Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Lands Tribunal (Salaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2009.
Revocation
2. The Lands Tribunal (Salaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008(4) is revoked.
Increases in salaries
3.—(1) The annual salary payable to the President of the Lands Tribunal shall be increased from £126,400 to £128,296 from 1st April 2009.
(2) The annual salary payable to any other member of the Lands Tribunal shall be increased from £119,000 to £120,785 from 1st April 2009.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for changes in the annual salaries payable to members of the Lands Tribunal for Northern Ireland following recommendations made in the Report of the Review Body on Senior Salaries in 2009 (TSO CM 7556) as amended by Government.
It increases, with effect from 1st April 2009, under section 18 of the Administrative and Financial Provisions Act (Northern Ireland) 1962, the annual salary of the President of the Lands Tribunal and all other members of the Tribunal.
Article 2 revokes the Lands Tribunal (Salaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008.
