2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Act —
(a)Section 1(3) and (4) (The Northern Ireland Library Authority);
(b)Section 2 (Duty of Authority to provide library service);
(c)Section 6 (Charges for certain library services);
(d)Section 7 (Byelaws in respect of use of library facilities);
(e)Section 8 (Grants for or in connection with library services);
(f)Section 10(2);
(g)Schedule 4 (Repeals) except in so far as it relates to Article 73(2) of the Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 (1)
is 1st April 2009.
