The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(3) of the Health and Social Care (Reform) Act (Northern Ireland) 2009(1):
Citation and interpretation
1.—(1) This order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Reform (2009 Act) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2009.
(2) In this order “the Act” means the Health and Social Care (Reform) Act (Northern Ireland) 2009.
Appointed day
2. In so far as not already in operation, the day appointed for the coming into operation of the Act is 1st April 2009.
