EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for the coming into operation of provisions of the Welfare Reform Act (Northern Ireland) 2007 relating to housing benefit as follows—
section 30(2) and (3) (local housing allowance), for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, on 10th March 2008; and
section 30, in so far as not already in operation, and a consequential repeal, on 7th April 2008.
