Citation and commencement
1. These regulations may be cited as the Domestic Energy Efficiency Grants (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2008.
Amendments
2. The Domestic Energy Efficiency Grants Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 (1) are amended in accordance with regulations 3 and 4.
3. In regulation 5(1)—
(a)at the end of sub-paragraph (d) for “ , or” substitute “ ; ” ; and
(b)at the end of sub-paragraph (e) for “.” substitute “; or” and add the following—
“(f)to provide water heating systems that use energy from renewable sources, including solar panels.”
4. In regulation 6—
(a)in paragraph (1), for the figure “£750” substitute “£850”; and
(b)in paragraph (2), for the figure “£3,700” substitute “£4,300”.
