Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (General) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2008.
2. In these Regulations “the principal regulations” means the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994(1).
Amendment of the principal regulations
3. In regulation 2 of the principal regulations (registration fees) for “£217” there shall be substituted “£345”.
4. In regulation 3 of the principal regulations (restoration fees) for “£104” there shall be substituted “£112”.
5. In regulation 4 of the principal regulations (retention fees)—
(a)in paragraph (1)(a) for “£319” there shall be substituted “£345”;
(b)in paragraph (2)(a) for “£146” there shall be substituted “£158”;
(c)in paragraph (2)(b) for “£117” there shall be substituted “£126”;
(d)in paragraph (2)(c) for “£53” there shall be substituted “£126”.
