1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as The Potatoes Originating in Egypt (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 and shall come into operation on 25th April 2008.
(2) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” refers to the Potatoes Originating in Egypt Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004(1).
(3) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(2) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
