1. These Regulations may be cited as the Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and shall come into operation on the 16th March 2007.
2. In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1978(1).
3. These Regulations apply only to samples taken on or after the 16th March 2007 and in respect of samples taken before that date the principal Regulations apply as if these Regulations had not been made.
4. The principal Regulations shall be amended in accordance with regulations 5 and 6 below.
5. For regulation 13 substitute:
“13.—(1) A sampler may charge £27.50 for making the arrangements to take a sample.
(2) The charge in paragraph (1) is payable whether or not a sample is taken.”.
6. Omit Schedule 2.
