1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security (1989 Order) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007.
(2) In this Order “the Order” means the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1989.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of—
(a)paragraph 3(1), (3) and (4) of Schedule 5 to the Order (non-compliance: compulsory levelling up) for the purposes of—
(i)paragraph 5A(1) of that Schedule (unfair paternity leave provisions), and
(ii)paragraph 5B of that Schedule (unfair adoption leave provisions), and
(b)Article 25 of the Order (equal treatment for men and women) in so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraph (a),
is 24th August 2007.
