This is the original version (as it was originally made). Northern Ireland Statutory Rules are not carried in their revised form on this site.
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Regulation and Improvement Authority (Registration) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 which make provision in relation to the registration of certain establishments and agencies under Part III of the Health and Personal Social Services (Quality, Improvement and Regulation) (Northern Ireland) Order 2005. The amendments correct errors in the 2005 Regulations. Amendments also relate to the registration of the following descriptions of establishments and agencies—
Day Care Settings
Residential Family Centres
Domiciliary Care Agencies
Adult Placement Agencies
In relation to the each of the above description of establishments and agencies, these Regulations amend the 2005 Regulations so as to define the Statement of Purpose that is to be provided to the Regulation and Improvement Authority by certain applicants for registration (amendment to regulation 2). Certain new definitions are also added into regulation 2 in consequence of the amendments made by these regulations.
