1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Work-focused Interviews for Lone Parents) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and shall come into operation—
(a)for the purposes of regulations 2(1) to (6) and 3(1) and (2), on 30th April 2007, and
(b)for the purposes of regulations 2(7) and 3(3), on 28th April 2008.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Lone Parents Regulations” means the Social Security (Work-focused Interviews for Lone Parents) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001(1);
“the Work-focused Interviews Regulations” means the Social Security (Work-focused Interviews) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003(2).
(3) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(3) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
