Functions of the Joint Committee

3.  The Joint Committee shall undertake the following functions in relation to the provision of health and personal social services:

(a) the development of a framework and plan for commissioning;

(b) the implementation of efficient and effective commissioning; and

(c) the provision of a management structure and accountability arrangements to manage the resources required to establish and maintain efficient and effective commissioning.
