Persons to be treated as social care workers

3.  For the purposes of section 2(3) of the Act (“Social care worker”, etc.), persons of any of the descriptions in paragraphs (a) to (e) of subsection (3) of section 2 of the Act shall, subject to regulation 2, be treated as social care workers.
