The Department for Regional Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 20(2)(c) of the Traffic Management (Northern Ireland) Order 2005(1):
1. These Regulations may be cited as The Immobilisation and Release of Vehicles (Charge) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 and shall come into operation on 30th October 2006.
2. The prescribed charge in respect of the immobilisation and release of a vehicle for the purposes of Article 20(2)(c) of the Traffic Management (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 shall be £40.

These Regulations prescribe the charge in respect of the immobilisation and release of vehicles in contravention of traffic offences subject to civil enforcement by the Department for Regional Development for the purposes of Article 20(2)(c) of the Traffic Management (Northern Ireland) Order 2005. The charge is set at £40.
