These Rules amend Order 64 of the Rules of the Supreme Court (Northern Ireland) 1980.
Rule 2(1) substitutes a new rule 2 into Order 64 which provides that judges of the High Court or Court of Appeal shall sit during vacation to hear cases in accordance with directions given by the Lord Chief Justice. It provides that any judge who sits during vacation is to be known as the Vacation Judge.
Rule 2(2) revokes Rule 3 of Order 64.
