The Department for Employment and Learning(1) in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 10(8) of, and Schedule 3 to the Administration of Justice Act 1973(2) and now vested in it(3) and with the concurrence of the Treasury(4), makes the following Regulations:

1973 c. 15; section 10 was repealed in part by section 36 of and Schedule 8 to the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993 (c. 8) and section 41 of and Schedule 6, Part 1 to the Northern Ireland Constitution Act 1973; and amended by S.I. 2005/3325

See Section 31 and Schedule 8 to 1993 c. 8 which substituted the reference in Schedule 3 to the Administration of Justice Act 1973 to the Department of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland with a reference to the Department of Economic Development and Article 4(b) and Part II of Schedule 2 to S.R. 1999 No. 481 for transfer of functions from Department of Economic Development to the Department of Higher and Further Education, Training and Employment

See Article 5 of S.I. 1973/2163 for transfer of functions from the Ministry of Finance for Northern Ireland to the Minister for the Civil Service and Article 2 S.I. 1981/1670 for the transfer of functions from the Minister for the Civil Service to the Treasury
