Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Young Persons) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 and shall come into operation—
(a)for the purposes of regulations 2(8) and 4(10) on 10th April 2006 immediately after the coming into operation of Articles 16(3) and 22(3) of the Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order (Northern Ireland) 2006(1); and
(b)for all other purposes on 10th April 2006.
(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(2) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
