The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 10(8) of, and Schedule 3 to the Administration of Justice Act 1973(1) and now vested in him by Article 3(1) of, and Schedule 2 to the Northern Ireland (Modification of Enactments — No. 1) Order 1973(2), and with the concurrence of the Treasury(3), makes the following Regulations:

1973 c. 15; section 10 was amended by Section 36 and Schedule 4 to the Judicial Pensions Act 1981 (c. 20) and paragraph 10(1) of Schedule 8 to the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993 (c. 8).
