SCHEDULE 3 Amendment of legislation relating to social security

Social Security (Claims and Information) Regulations

27.  In regulation 13(4) of the Social Security (Claims and Information) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001(1) (partners of claimants)—

(a) for “a married or unmarried couple” there shall be substituted “a couple”;

(b) after “also a member” there shall be inserted “, and “couple” has the same meaning as in regulation 1(2) of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996”(2).
