The Pensions (2005 Order) (Commencement No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order makes further provision for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005—

• Articles 188 (remainder), 276, 279 (in part), 282, 283, 284, 286 and 290(2), paragraph 2(1) and (3) of Schedule 4, paragraph 70(3) of Schedule 10 (in part), and Schedule 11 (in part), on 1st September 2005;

• paragraphs 15 and 16 of Schedule 10, and Schedule 11 (in part), on 22nd September 2005;

• Article 220, on 1st November 2005;

• Articles 218, 219 and 239, for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, on 1st November 2005, and for all other purposes, on 6th April 2006;

• Article 85 (remainder), on 14th November 2005.
