By-Laws amended

2.  For by-law 26(1) of the By-Laws relating to Motor Hackney Carriages standing or plying for hire made by the Council of the County Borough of Belfast on 4th June 1951(1) there shall be substituted –

26.(1) The fares payable for the hire of a Motor Hackney Carriage within the prescribed limits shall be –

(a)where not more than 4 passengers are carried –

In assessing additional fares every child under the age of 6 years and/or one child over 6 years and under 12 years shall be disregarded. Two children between the ages of 6 years and 12 years shall be counted as one passenger..
