BETTING, GAMING AND LOTTERIES

The Betting and Gaming (2004 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004

The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(4) of the Betting and Gaming (Northern Ireland) Order 2004(1) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Betting and Gaming (2004 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004.

(2) In this Order “the 2004 Order” means the Betting and Gaming (Northern Ireland) Order 2004.

Appointed day

2.  The day appointed for the coming into operation of Article 10 of the 2004 Order is 30th September 2004.

Explanatory Note

This Order appoints 30th September 2004 for the coming into operation of Article 10 (Amusement permits) of the Betting and Gaming (Northern Ireland) Order 2004.
