These Regulations amend the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 (“the principal Regulations”).
These Regulations amend the principal Regulations by–
(a)in regulation 25 (the interpretation of Part VII), substituting a reference to the First Edition of the Guidance for Cryptosporidium with a reference to the First Edition (Revised February 2003),
(b)revoking regulation 32 (offences).
Copies of the revised “Guidance for the Monitoring of Cryptosporidium in Treated Water in Northern Ireland” may be obtained from the Department’s Environment and Heritage Service, Commonwealth House, 35 Castle Street, Belfast, BT1 1GU or by accessing their website at www.ehsni.gov.uk.
