2.—(1) Regulation 20 of the Education (Student Support) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 shall be amended as provided by paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) At the beginning of paragraph (14) there shall be inserted “Subject to paragraph (14A),”.
(3) After paragraph (14) there shall be inserted the following paragraph:
“(14A) Where the maximum amounts of loan set out in paragraphs (1) and (2) are reduced under paragraph (14), such reduction shall not have effect so as to reduce the amount of loan below the amount applicable to the student under regulation 24(6) or (7).”.
