1. This Order may be cited as the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 (Designated Places of Detention) Order 2003 and shall come into operation on 6th May 2003.
2. There is hereby specified as a designated place of detention for the purposes of section 73 of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 that part of Antrim Police Station that has been designated by the Secretary of State under paragraph 1 of Schedule 8 to the Terrorism Act 2000(1) (place of detention), being so much of Antrim Police Station as is needed to detain persons under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
3. The Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 (Designated Places of Detention) Order 2002(2) shall cease to have effect on 11th May 2003.
