Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Carers (Services) and Direct Payments Regulations 2003 and shall come into operation on 5th May 2003.

(2) In these Regulations –

“the Act” means the Carers and Direct Payments Act (Northern Ireland) 2002.
