2.—(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(1) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
(2) In these Regulations –
(a)“the Chief Inspector” means the chief inspector appointed by the Department under section 4 of the Radioactive Substances Act 1993(2);
(b)“the 1993 Act” means the Radioactive Substances Act 1993.
