ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES

These Regulations amend the Goods Vehicles (Testing) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995 (“the principal Regulations”) by increasing the fees as follows –For a vehicle 3,500 kilograms maximum gross weight or under—the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal is increased from £25·00 to £28·00; andthe fee payable where an application for a re-test is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate is increased from £16·00 to £17·50.For vehicles exceeding 3,500 kilograms maximum gross weight –the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal is increased as follows –for a 2 axle rigid vehicle, from £32·00 to £35·00;for a 3 axle rigid vehicle, from £42·00 to £45·00;for a 4 axle rigid vehicle, from £53·00 to £56·00;for an articulated vehicle having a 2 axle drawing vehicle, from £36·00 to £39·00; andfor an articulated vehicle having a 3 axle drawing vehicle, from £48·00 to £51·00.
