The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 17(1) of the Social Security Fraud Act (Northern Ireland) 2001(1) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Social Security Fraud (2001 Act) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of section 3 of the Social Security Fraud Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 (code of practice about use of information powers) is 19th December 2002.

This Order provides for the coming into operation on 19th December 2002 of section 3 of the Social Security Fraud Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 (which makes provision in relation to a code of practice about the use of information powers).
