1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the General Medical Services (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2002.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the General Medical Services Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997(1).
2. In Part IX of Schedule 3 to the principal Regulations (criteria for inclusion and retention in the minor surgery list) after paragraph 2(c) insert—
“(cc)he has provided evidence that he complies with current guidance given by the Department on the protection of health care workers and patients from Hepatitis B;”.
