Superannuation (Invest Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002

The Department of Finance and Personnel in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972(1) and now vested in it(2) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Invest Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on 11th July 2002.

Addition to list of employments

2. There shall be added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 with effect from 1st April 2002 employment in Invest Northern Ireland(3).

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order adds employment in Invest Northern Ireland to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 (“the 1972 Order”) for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It is retrospective by virtue of Article 3(7) of the 1972 Order.
