Amendment of the Community Drivers' Hours (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Temporary Exception) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001

2.  The Community Drivers' Hours (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Temporary Exception) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001(1) shall be amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 2(1) (Interpretation), after the definition of “machinery” there shall be added the following definition—

““prescribed period” means the period of 30 days beginning on 6th July 2001;”, and

(b) in regulation 3(1), the phrase “until 7th July” and the figure “2001” wherever it appears shall be deleted and after “vehicle” there shall be inserted “in the prescribed period”.
